Yishiuan Chin
Yishiuan Chin, Ph.D. is a seasoned higher education professional. Currently, she is an independent academic and dissertation coach, where she helps undergraduate and graduate students develop skills and strategies to make the most of their education and have a balanced life. She is also a lecturer at Northeastern University and a senior lecturer at the College for Social Innovation.
Prior to her current roles, she worked as an administrator at Harvard University, Boston University, and Lesley University. She has worked as a mental health counselor and a social service coordinator. When she is not coaching and teaching, she teaches Pilates and barre.
Yishiuan holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education, an M.S. in Counseling Psychology, and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge. Her areas of interest include organizational voice and silence, leadership and management, identity and belonging, and intercultural relations.
